Application for tier2 spouse visa.
I am writing to ask for your help in applying for a visa.
My wife has obtained a Tier 2 visa for the UK.
After obtaining the visa, we got married in Japan. We are now aiming to come to the UK on a Tier 2 spouse visa.
Here is my question.
Her BRP card, visa and passport are in her maiden name, and her passport was renewed in Japan after she applied for it and returned to London first.
Are these documents mandatory to be updated before I apply for my visa?
I have heard that if her BRP card and passport are still in her maiden name because her maiden name is on the marriage certificate, she will be granted a visa even if she keeps her maiden name, but I wanted to know what professionals think about this.
