Dear Sachin, Is being under 26 enough to qualify as a new entrant? Should he be a student, too? Can he switch from a dependent student to a skilled worker while still in the UK under a new entrant?

Just being under 26 is sufficient to qualify for New Entrant Salary. Student Dependant can switch. However, from practice, we have seen that the UKVI caseworkers ask for evidence of course completion of the Student, when the Student Dependant files a Skilled Worker application within UK
