Hello there,
Yes, your daughter can potentially bring her husband to the UK under the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) if they meet the specific criteria.
Since your daughter has Settled Status under the EUSS, and she got married in 2018 (before the 31st December 2020 cut-off date for relationships under the EUSS), her husband may be eligible to apply as a 'joining family member'.
Here's what needs to be considered:
* **Relationship existed by 31 December 2020:** The key factor is that their marriage must have been entered into *before* 31 December 2020. As you've stated they married in 2018, this condition is met.
* **Genuine and subsisting relationship:** They will need to provide evidence that their marriage is genuine and continues to exist. This could include marriage certificates, joint bank statements, utility bills in both names, photographs, communication records, etc.
* **Your daughter's status:** Your daughter having Settled Status (which means she has established a continuous qualifying period of residence in the UK) is essential.
* **How to apply:** The husband, as a non-EEA national, would typically need to apply for an **EU Settlement Scheme Family Permit** from *outside* the UK (e.g., from Pakistan). This permit would allow him to travel to the UK.
* **Application for EUSS status in the UK:** Once he enters the UK on the Family Permit, he must then apply for status under the EU Settlement Scheme (either Pre-settled or Settled Status, depending on their circumstances and continuous residence) within three months of arrival or before the Family Permit expires, whichever is earlier.
The fact that she has two UK-born children, aged 6, further strengthens the family ties to the UK.
It's important to gather comprehensive evidence to support the application.
