Internship - Immigration Trainee (6 months)
The candidate must have a vibrant and engaging personality, impeccable appearance, outstanding customer service skills, balanced with an informal approach and welcoming personality.
Communication skills are key, with an excellent command of English (additional languages will be an advantage but not necessary) and at least basic drafting skills, such as letters, etc.
Please note that this is a 6 month internship with a view to permanent employment. This is an unpaid internship, you will only be paid your travelling expenses(bus fare only) for the 6 months. You should be living within maximum 1 hour (one way) travel distance(by bus) from our Finchley location. You will also be paid your Lunch expenses starting from the 4th month onwards.
You will be required to work from our Finchley office, however, if you are offered permanent employment, then you will be required to travel between our offices/locations in London, all travelling expenses will be reimbursed.
Further, if you are offered a permanent position, we will sponsor you to take the OISC Level 1 Examinations and supervise you to qualify as an Immigration Adviser, if you intend to do so.

Keeping on top of all correspondence received
Legal Research - Immigration Law and rules
Drafting excerpts of your understanding of the Immigration rules
Preparation of UK Immigration applications
Updating yourselves with relevant rules, policies and best practices
Liaising with Home Office
Collation of all relevant documentation
Updating of internal client files

We have flexible working hours, so you can accommodate your personal chores in between business hours or if you have any other job we can accommodate accordingly. However, we would need a commitment to work at least 20 hours per week upto a maximum of 40 hours per week. You also have the option of working 9am 5pm.
As a part of this role, you are not required to do any Sales or Develop Business, however, if you bring any additional business, then you would be remunerated separately for that.
